It is working with Tomorrow’s Forests to offset its carbon footprint by planting trees and creating real change. It is working with Tomorrow’s Forests to achieve this goal with the added benefit all trees are planted in the UK!
Tomorrow’s Forests have planted just short of 8 million trees in the UK. Tomorrow’s Forests entire purpose will encourage more people to join in the fight against climate change and to help create a better tomorrow.
When creating forests, they plant the right tree, in the right place, at the right time because this is crucial to the success of each forest. All planting is done in-house and in the UK and this directly benefits the UK population. Its methods are based on scientific research to maximise the value of every hectare of woodlands for wildlife and carbon capture.
Following a site survey they plan which trees will suit the soil type and landscape and design a planting plan. This includes tree species and features such as ponds and wildflower areas.
Saplings are planted at high densities so they grow faster and restore biodiversity more quickly. You can visit your tree with GPS coordinates. You receive a certificate and regular blog posts to honour your contribution. Regular updates are sent to you with the progress of your tree.
If you are committed to helping with climate change and are considering a new holiday home, Away Resorts must be your first stop in your journey.
