DESKGO co-working office donates Easter eggs to Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice

We are always looking for ways to support the community and give back where we can. That’s why when we found out Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice were looking for donations of Easter eggs, we knew we had to get DESKGO involved.

Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice support people through the most difficult times of their lives, whether that’s a terminal illness, the loss of a loved one or a neurological condition; Sue Ryder are there for the families and patients.

They have a great activity schedule which includes gardening, arts and crafts, quizzes, and baking. They also offer complementary therapies like massages, aromatherapy and reiki as these therapies can aid in reducing stress, increasing energy and improving relaxation and sleep. These types of activities can impact on a patient’s recovery and are a vital part of what Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall has to offer.

Thorpe Hall Hospice has come up with a great idea on how to raise funds for families needing their expert care. By guessing the name of their Easter bunny in return for a £2 donation, you could be in for a chance to win an Easter egg hamper.

They are hoping to raise £3000 to help pay for a Sue Ryder nurse, this amount of money will fund a nurse for 1 month, which puts into perspective how much money is needed for this type of care. They aim to get 250 Easter eggs together to create a total of 50 hampers.

Please head over to Thorpe Halls Facebook page to find out more and enter the competition.
